This Limited Edition Colombia Gesha is grown by Luis Anibal Calderon at Villa Betulia farm.The coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria and floated and sorted to remove any defects. Cherries are exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped and the parchment gently washed and dried in temperature controlled conditions until the ideal moisture content is achieved.
This microlot is 100% Gesha,the varietal was first discovered in Abyssinia, Ethiopia in 1931, then planted in Panama for the first time in 1963 and now in Colombia in 2005.
